Main Barn 

We have started to renovate the Barn during  2005, so if you want to rent a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house with friends next year 2007 please call us. 

Down by the Well (Le puit)

No one else uses this property so enjoy it, down by the canal it's peaceful and you can spend all day watching the boats go up and down.

This is a great place in the evening to come and have a gin and tonic in the shade of the fig trees.

There is a fireplace to have a fire if you like. 

The "Lunch Tree"

When we first saw this property the mature trees were a big factor in our decision to buy (after all the property wasn't for sale) 

These trees were very important, I needed a tree I could sit under to have my lunch like all the other Frenchman in the village. So this was it. Enjoy lunch!

Sadly it is diseased and the landscaper is scheduled to plant a number of "Plantain mur"  trees to replace it.

Gates onto the tow path of the Canal du Midi

There are gates onto the tow path. Cycling along the tow path is great fun and its easy going to cycle to Trebes in the direction of Carcassonne. Takes about an hour. Remember to hire the bikes when you book.

The Garden

The lawn from the old Barn to the canal is grassed and has been landscaped with tress including fruit trees.

Plenty of room to kick a ball around or play badminton, swing ball etc. It gets a bit windy at times, but you will appreciate the wind as it cools the heat.

Remember at 9:00pm in the evening the irrigation system comes on and the lawns are watered. Actually everything that is on grass will be watered as well, so put cushions and sports gear away.
