Tango
This newly built house, La Maison au Soleil (House in the Sun), is situated in the orchard of Les Petites Ecuries, in the beautiful village of Marseillette. Les Petites Ecuries is on a UNESCO World Heritage site, as it borders the Canal du Midi.
Marseillette is between the Corbires and the Minervois wine growing areas and close to the villages of Trebes and Capendu (10 minutes) and Carcassonne (15 minutes) and 40 minutes from the beaches of Narbonne.
Les Petites Ecuries' (The Small Stables) owners have started to renovate the property and have named the house nearest the pool, Tango after one of the four horses from the old stables. The grounds around Tango are landscaped and the majority of the acre around the main house is currently in lawn, with some large trees. Tango has been equipped and decorated to a very high standard by its interior designer owners.

This is a beautiful single level house with views over the pool (70 sq.mtrs). The accommodation comprises -
· Living/dining room with CD player with a selection of CD's. Twin double doors open up onto the terrace and pool.
· New open kitchen fully equipped to a very high standard and includes dishwasher, electric hob and oven, family fridge/freezer, espresso coffee maker
· Master bedroom with a king size double bed, double doors onto pool terrace
· Bedroom 2 twin single beds - sleeps (2) with cot and views over the garden at the rear of the house. TV for showing Videos.
· Bathroom with shower, large sink, toilet and hair dryer.
· Utility room with washing machine and large sink
The pool and house are surrounded by a tiled terrace, lawn and gravel. Passing the barbecue, steps lead up to the rear of the house to a quiet shaded area, which generally enjoys a refreshing breeze. The "lunch tree" provides excellent shade and a conducive area to consume the fine local wines (which we can provide) and French cuisine.
Sole use pool (12m x 7m) half of which is 90cm with the deep end (1.9m).
Local Information and Activities
For your arrival and enjoyment at Tango we have prepared a book containing all the local information, supermarkets, doctors, dentists, Boulangerie/Patisserie and Charcuterie/Boucherie. Marseillette, Trbes, Capendu and Carcassonne have all the essential shops and there is an excellent choice of restaurants within a reasonable distance (walking and by car). Markets in the villages around Marseillette are on different days of the week and are well worth a visit.
There are riding stables 3 kms from here and tennis courts in Trbes (7 kms), hiking or cycling routes into the Alaric hills or along the canal. The Jouarre and Cavayre lakes (15 and 10 kms) have supervised swimming and a hire base for sailboards and kayaks. The beaches of Gruissan, Leucates and Narbonne are about 40 minutes by car.
The medieval city of Carcassonne (15 minutes by car) and the ancient Cathare chteaux (within an hour's drive) are all well worth seeing. The Canal du Midi and the locks at Marseillette and Trebes are interesting places to pass the time of day, while some prefer to walk along the Canals' tow paths under the shade of the large plane trees.

Airports: Carcassonne - Ryanair 20 minutes Perpignan - Ryanair 1 ｽ hours Toulouse - Buzz, Air France & BA 1ｽ hours, car hire available at all.
Road: From Calais - 10 hours on A61 Exit motorway at (A61 Carcassonne Est. exit), then the Route Nationale 113 for about .5 kms until signposted Trebes and D610. Pass through Trebes and then through vineyards until Marseillette.

All prices are per week, Saturday 4 pm to Saturday 10 am.
Deposit required of 25 % and final payment is due
6 weeks before the start of the rental period.
A damage deposit of £200 cash is also required on arrival.
Outside high season other arrival and departure days, or shorter stays, can be discussed.

Reluctantly we cannot accept animals.
Included in rental - All bed linen (sheets, pillowcases.)
All towels including pool/beach towel, bath towel,
handtowel, facecloth, teatowel, shower mats.
Pool cleaning and maintenance.
All bed linen and towels must be washed and dried before departure
otherwise a cleaning charge of €50 will be charged.
Not included in rental - All extras are payable in Sterling or Euros
with final booking or departure.
Electricity between 1st of September until 15th June.
Barbecue fuel, fantastic local wine (can be bought in UK)
Starter pack - (milk, butter, Baguette, eggs, 2 jams, coffee/tea, coffee filters,
1 litre orange juice, bag sugar, 2 bottles mineral water, 2 toilet roll,
